Hi there!
Does life ever feel like a rollercoaster—one moment you’re barely keeping your head above water, and the next, you feel like you could take on the world? The emotional ups and downs, layered with daily pressures and expectations, can leave you feeling drained, overwhelmed, or even hopeless. It seems like all your friends and coworkers have met the partner of their dreams, and found a career path they love. So why haven’t you been able to figure this stuff out?
If you're struggling to find clear direction or feel like you're navigating it all alone, I want you to know this: you don’t have to do it by yourself. I get it and I’m here to support you. Whether you are currently experiencing life transitions, grief/loss, anxiety, or depression, together we can create a personalized way to help you find your way, manage stress, and deal with the emotional ups and downs. We’ll identify the best tools and guidance that truly fits who you are and what you need.
My work primarily centers on supporting adults, with a strong emphasis on providing culturally responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. I have the experience with working with the following:
As a graduate student and therapist-in-training, I’m continually pushed to grow my understanding and skills in the field of mental health. Through my MSW program, I have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and gain insights from experienced clinicians. While I’m still new to the profession, I bring a fresh perspective to the therapeutic process. I also understand the challenge of balancing school, work, and life—all while managing the pressure to succeed. It’s stressful!
Traveling is one of my greatest passions—I love immersing myself in new cultures, learning different languages, and gaining a deeper understanding of diverse values and ways of life. Over the past four years, I’ve been studying both Korean and Japanese and have had the opportunity to visit both countries. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity, which I carry into my work. I’m committed to creating a therapeutic environment that is inclusive, welcoming, and free of judgment for everyone.
If the past few years have taught me anything, it’s the importance of offering ourselves more grace and patience. Growth looks different for everyone, and it’s rarely linear. Living with social anxiety, depression, and OCD, my journey has been challenging at times. I’ve often found it difficult to extend the same compassion to myself that I readily give to others. These days, I focus on taking things step by step—building confidence in my abilities while allowing room for mistakes and setbacks as part of the process.
If any part of my story resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect and hear about your own journey.
